Heir portal: collect documents without email

One personal link per heir, with no account to create. They upload, set aside what does not apply to them, and see exactly what the practice chose to publish.

No account to create
the heir opens their space on the first click, with no password
No more documents by email
every upload arrives attached to the right person and filed
Nothing leaves without you
you choose what is shared and read every message before it goes

How it works

  1. 01The practice opens a personal link, valid 90 days
  2. 02The heir uploads, or sets aside what does not apply
  3. 03Checks run on upload, the dossier moves forward

An heir can set aside what does not apply to them

The list of documents is the same for every heir, while several of them only apply to some. An unmarried heir asked for a marriage contract wonders whether to go looking, call the practice, or wait. As a rule, they wait.

So they can answer « this does not apply to me » on the optional documents. The line closes instead of staying open, you can see they answered, and progress on the shared part of the dossier takes it into account.

Collecting by email

  • Documents scattered across several email threads.
  • Silence can mean one thing or its opposite.
  • Every document to file into the dossier by hand.
  • No record of the date you asked for it.

Collecting through the heir portal

  • Every document arrives under the right person's name.
  • A document set aside is an answer, not silence.
  • Filing into the dossier happens without you.
  • Every upload and every viewing carries its date.

Documents are checked the moment they are uploaded

Two checks run on their own. On an identity document, Regorus reads the strip of characters printed at the bottom and verifies that it is consistent. On bank details, it verifies that the account holder is the expected heir, and that the account number has not changed since the previous upload.

The second is the only check in the product that raises a top-level alert, because it is the only one whose consequence is a transfer. You see it as soon as you open the dossier, and you clear it in one click if the change is legitimate.

A badge on the heir's row tells you at a glance whether their identity document passed the check.
You can see the history of the bank details each heir has sent.
An identity check has two outcomes only, verified or not verified: on a photo taken with a phone, a failed reading is far more likely than a forged document, and the heir is never put in question.
A legitimate change of details is cleared in one click, and the alert blocks no action.
We do not say whether a document is genuine, only whether its check digits are consistent.

Heirs only see what you have published

Their space does not show the dossier's figures as you enter them. It shows the last statement you published, with its date. The amounts therefore stay the same until your next publication.

The reason is simple: an amount that changes by itself between two visits, because an analysis ran in the meantime, produces a phone call and some anxiety, never a pleasant surprise. You set how much detail is shared, you see the space exactly as the heir will see it, then you publish.

And you are the one who writes to the heirs. Regorus never sends anything to an heir on its own initiative: it tells you a reminder is due, it drafts the text, and sending happens on your click, from Regorus or from your own mailbox.

Getting started

  1. 01You record the heirs in the dossierthe practice
  2. 02You set what is shared, and preview itthe practice, once
  3. 03You send the link to the heirs, however you preferEmailWhatsAppQR codeLink to copythe practice
  4. 04Documents arrive, filed and checkedRegorus

Nothing is shared by default, and no message goes out before you have read it. This is work removed from collection, not from the decision.

Frequently asked

How does the heir reach their space?

Through a link that belongs to them alone and opens their space directly: no account to create, no password, no separate identifier. That is what lets an heir who is uncomfortable with computers send documents without help.

What happens when the link expires?

The link is valid for 90 days. Fifteen days before it expires you are told, and you extend it in one click for the same period. Documents already sent are never affected, neither by expiry nor by renewal.

Do the heirs see the whole estate?

They see what you published, and nothing else. You set the level of detail, nothing is shared by default, and you see the space as they will see it before granting access. A published amount does not change until the next publication.

Does Regorus write to the heirs for me?

No. Regorus never writes to an heir on its own initiative: it tells you a reminder is due and drafts the text, then sending happens on your click, from Regorus or from your own mailbox.

Can this space show up in Google?

No. The heir portal is excluded from indexing, and each space is reachable only through its link. Viewings are recorded, with their date and their author.

See what the heir sees, before opening their link.

The practice previews the portal exactly as it will appear, sets how much detail is shared, then grants access. Nothing is published by default.
