Notarial successions: rigour, automated.
The estate-management software for French notarial practices. Regorus collects the documents, follows up with institutions and consolidates the estate; the practice validates. 11 hours returned to the practice on every dossier, re-billable as estate-management fees.

Why successions can no longer be handled the old way.
Manually processing successions costs practices close to €190 M a year, roughly €27,000 per practice. The profession is changing; the tools have lagged behind.
More and more dossiers
The great wealth transfer is swelling succession volumes while teams stay the same size. Every clerk carries more open dossiers.
Tight deadlines to meet
Six months to file the declaration, and waiting on institutions eats up most of it. Beyond that, penalties and late interest.
Increasingly complex estates
Multiple banks, life insurance, split ownership, SCI vehicles: every extra counterparty means more letters and follow-ups to track.
Time-consuming busywork
Phone chasers, documents requested twice, replies to refile: time goes to execution, not advice.
A succession dossier, step by step: 11 hours returned to the practice.
Measured with 3 design-partner practices. Figures reflect an average dossier (47 documents, 3 heirs, multi-bank holdings).
Across 80 dossiers/year: ~110 clerk-days.
Re-billable as estate-management fees.
A transparent model, within the regulated notarial tariff. It doesn't weigh on the practice; it gives time back.
From the death certificate to the final archive: one single chain.
Five steps in sequence, two functions on watch throughout. Each has its own page: exact scope, stated limits, getting started.
People and devolution
The dossier opens from the death certificate (OCR). Spouse, children, legatees, legal entities: each is attached with their capacity, and Regorus proposes the legal devolution, sources attached. The decision stays yours.
The plan and the tax deadline
Every dossier follows a plan of 5 phases and 60 milestones, from inventory to closure. A deposited document ticks its milestone without a click, and the filing deadline is computed the way the authority counts it: from date to date, moved to the next working day when it lands on a Sunday or a public holiday.
Requests to institutions
The built-in directory knows the estates department of 200+ institutions, and the channel each one accepts: email from your Outlook mailbox, postal mail, online form or phone. The request leaves through the right channel, is chased at the delay you set, and the reply files itself into the dossier.
The estate, consolidated
Assets and liabilities build themselves as replies come in, with no re-keying. Every change keeps its date and its cause, and the consolidated statement prints out to prepare the declaration.
Filing and the archive
Documents file themselves, under your practice's headings and order, and file names follow your convention. At closure, the ZIP archive returns the dossier exactly as seen on screen, ready to hand over to a colleague.
The heir portal
One personal link, no account to create: the heir uploads their documents, flags what does not concern them, and follows progress at the level you set. Fewer calls to the practice, and documents stop travelling by email.
The consistency check
Regorus re-reads the dossier as you work: a document deposited twice, names that do not match, an heir's IBAN that changes mid-course, a land-registry entry with no matching debt. 22 alert types, nothing ever blocked: it flags, you decide.
Regorus proposes, the practice decides.
Devolution, filing, an extracted amount: proposals you validate.
Nothing goes out without the practice.
An heir never receives anything the practice did not trigger.
Every proposal shows its source.
An amount, a name, an alert: the source document is one click away.
Stop watching your dossiers: they alert you.
A tax deadline approaching, documents uploaded by an heir, a letter left unanswered, a dossier going quiet: Regorus spots what needs your attention and tells you. Not the other way round.
The 22 alert types, in detailUrgent items don't wait
A changed heir bank account, a tax deadline overrun: the alert goes out without waiting for the digest, by email and to your browser. Never between 8 pm and 7 am.
Everything else waits for the morning
One email a day, grouped by dossier: what needs action, what came in, what is dragging. Your inbox is not a news feed.
Reminders clear themselves
Each reminder reflects the dossier's actual state: the reply arrives, it closes itself, nobody ticks it off. Whatever is still showing genuinely needs your attention.
In the app
The bell holds the full picture: urgent items, pending actions, recent arrivals, dossier by dossier.
By email
Urgent alerts go out at once, exactly once. Everything else waits for the morning digest.
In your browser
A banner when something lands in a dossier: a document uploaded, a reply received. You choose what, device by device.

Frequently asked questions.
No. Regorus sits alongside your existing software and takes care of the layer it doesn't cover: document collection, follow-ups, heir portal and asset consolidation. You keep your deed-drafting software; bridges with the main practice-management tools are being explored.
Under two weeks on average. We handle the import of your in-flight dossiers and team onboarding. Your clerks are productive from the first week.
There is no public price list: each practice receives a quote during a free scoping session, based on its size and dossier volume. The subscription is single-tier and includes everything: onboarding, import of in-flight dossiers, team training and support.
Each heir gets a secure, personal space where they upload their documents. Regorus flags missing items and prepares the follow-ups; they go out once you approve them, and you track collection progress dossier by dossier.
In practice it rebuilds itself as documents come in, from two sources: documents heirs upload through their dedicated portal, and OCR of the files you send us. Everything stays inside the dossier; nothing leaves without your approval.
Regorus watches every dossier and notifies the practice through three channels: the in-app bell, email (urgent items such as a changed heir bank account or a missed tax deadline go out without waiting, the rest arrives in a daily digest grouped by dossier), and browser notifications if a member turns them on. A reminder clears itself once the underlying situation is resolved: whatever is still showing genuinely needs action. Each member sets their own thresholds, for instance when an inactive dossier should surface.
In France, with Scaleway, and document analysis runs on Mistral AI models: the same choices as the Conseil supérieur du notariat, which selected Mistral AI on Scaleway infrastructure to bring AI to notarial offices. Regorus is built to comply with GDPR and the AI Act: a full audit log, and no data is used outside the dossier without your consent.
CSN press release, July 2026Yes. The pricing model is designed to allow transparent re-billing as estate-management fees, within the regulated notarial tariff.
Estate-administration software handles a succession dossier upstream of the deed: identifying the entitled parties, collecting documents, sending requests to banks and institutions, consolidating assets and liabilities, tracking tax deadlines. That is what Regorus does, alongside the practice's deed-drafting software.
